Compromising In Group Projects
In 6th grade and even at the beginning of 7th grade, I faced challenges compromising with team members. I remember feeling like I wasn't part of the group when I wasn't about to communicate well with my partner or partners. In 7th grade and during the History's Mysteries project, I learned that the most effective way to communicate is to just speak your mind. Communication looks like partners getting along, sounds like no fighting about what you want to create, and feels like your apart of the group. Communicating effectively with team mates will help me in 8th grade because I need to have to have say in the projects.
Stepping Up And Down In Group Projects
In 6th grade and even at the beginning of 7th grade, I faced challenges with stepping down. I remember feeling like my partners didn't care. In 7th grade and during the What's Eating You? project, I learned that the most effective way to step down is to split up the work, and check in on your partners, to make sure they are doing all of their work. Stepping up and down with team mates will help me in 8th grade because I won't do all of the work.
Asking More Questions
In 6th grade, I faced challenges with asking questions. I remember feeling confused when I didn't ask questions. In 7th grade , I learned that the most effective way to be less confused is to ask questions when I need help and when I am confused. Asking questions saves a lot of time when I am confused, and need help. Asking questions will help me in 8th grade because I will save time, and do more work, when I ask questions.
